$350 at Ikea
$299 at Ikea
If I had room in my house, I would buy these*. Even though they are from Ikea.
a.) they are actually wood
b.) they are fun colors
c.) I have piles of books everywhere.
*on a side note, I would probably not use the glass doors that come with the red bookcase.
Glad that I don't have $300+ to blow at Ikea, Alice

the yellow is tots ugly, but the red I could get with.

I have the red one, it's great. We cut some small holes low in the back for plugs to come out to the wall as we keep the TV and stereo in there (as well as books) so we can shut the door on them when not in use. You used to be able to buy it without the doors too if you wanted to go that route.

Really? I just pictured it in a corner of my imaginary laundry room, full of guest blankets and fun sheets; using the drawers for all the treasures that come from pockets in the wash...

I would like to have the yellow one for my kitchen. Ikea? No problem. I am not a design snob. I like to miss trash & treasures. Makes for an eclectic and individual home!
