Vanity Case is the brain child of Jean Barberis, a Jacques of all trades and a dilettante of many talents, dabbling in art, curating, urban adventure, carpentry and scavengery. Jean likes to get his hands dirty with second hand dust in various thrift-stores, digging for treasures. A passion for traveling and gleaning inspired this line of cabinets, designed with elegant ladies and discerning gentlemen in mind. When Jean's hands aren't busy making stuff, his brain is usually occupied thinking up new ideas and art shows for Flux Factory. Jean was born in France and lives in Queens, New York
